The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time, in a little village, there were three little pigs. They were brothers and lived with their mother in a cozy cottage made of wood.

One day, their mother sent them off to build their own houses. The first little pig was very lazy and decided to build his house out of straw. He worked for just one day and then sat down to rest, thinking that a straw house would be easy to build and would be warm enough.

The second little pig was a bit more careful than his brother. He decided to build his house out of sticks. He worked for two days, making a stronger house than the first pig’s. He thought it would be safe enough.

The third little pig was the most diligent of the three. He decided to build his house out of bricks. He worked hard for three days, making sure that his house was very strong and secure.

After the houses were built, the three pigs lived happily for a while. But soon, a big, bad wolf came to the village. He heard about the little pigs and decided to have a meal.

First, the wolf came to the house of the first little pig, who lived in the straw house. He blew with all his might, and the straw house fell down quickly. The first little pig ran out, crying, “Oh no! My house is gone! The wolf is after me!”

The second little pig heard the cries and ran out to see what was happening. The wolf saw him and said, “Where are you going, little pig? I’m coming to get you too!” The second little pig ran to his stick house, but the wolf blew even harder, and the sticks flew away. The second little pig ran out, crying, “Oh no! My house is gone! The wolf is after me!”

The third little pig, who lived in the brick house, heard the cries of his brothers. He didn’t panic because he knew his house was strong. The wolf blew and blew, but the bricks did not budge. Finally, the wolf got so tired of blowing that he decided to go to the third little pig’s house.

The third little pig was inside, cooking his dinner. When he heard the wolf’s voice, he quickly closed the door and locked it. The wolf tried to get in, but the bricks were too strong. He then thought of a plan. He found a pot of water boiling on the stove and poured it over the door. The hot water melted the lock, and the wolf got in.

The third little pig was not to be caught so easily. He took a pot of boiling oil and poured it over the wolf. The wolf howled in pain and ran away, never to return.

The three little pigs were safe again, and they lived happily ever after. The moral of the story is: hard work and perseverance pay off, and a strong house can protect you from danger.
