The Three Little Pigs
Once upon a time, there were three little pigs who lived with their mother in a cozy little house in the forest. One day, their mother told them that it was time for them to leave home and find their own places to live.
The first little pig was very lazy and not very smart. He decided to build his house out of straw because it was quick and easy. He thought it would be the perfect home for him. After a few days, a big, bad wolf came along and huffed and puffed, blowing the straw house down. The first little pig ran away, crying, and found a place to hide until the wolf went away.
The second little pig was a bit more careful than his brother. He decided to build his house out of sticks because he thought it would be stronger than straw. When the wolf came, he huffed and puffed, but the sticks were too strong. The wolf tried again and again, but the house wouldn’t fall. Finally, the second little pig heard the wolf coming and ran away to his brother’s house.
The third little pig was the wisest of the three. He worked hard and built his house out of bricks, which were very strong. When the wolf came, he huffed and puffed as hard as he could, but the bricks were too strong. The house did not fall, and the wolf couldn’t get in. The third little pig was safe inside his house.
The big, bad wolf was very angry and decided to go to the third little pig’s house. He climbed up a tree and tried to get in through the window, but the third little pig had thought of that and had nailed it shut. The wolf then tried to dig under the house, but the bricks were too thick. Finally, the wolf climbed down the tree and went away, never to bother the little pigs again.
The three little pigs lived happily ever after, each in their own house, safe from the big, bad wolf. And they all learned that hard work and good planning can keep you safe from danger.
