《The Very Hungry Caterpillar》（《好饿的毛毛虫》）

On Monday, he ate an entire hole through a green leaf.
On Tuesday, he ate two holes through a yellow leaf.
On Wednesday, he ate three holes through a red leaf.
On Thursday, he ate four holes through a black leaf.
On Friday, he ate five holes through a purple leaf.
On Saturday, he ate six holes through a brown leaf.
On Sunday, he ate one big hole through a green leaf.
After eating all those leaves, the caterpillar felt very sick. He found a cozy spot and made a cocoon. Inside the cocoon, he changed. When he came out, he was a beautiful butterfly!
The butterfly flew around, enjoying the sun and the flowers. He visited the caterpillar’s friends and told them his story. They were amazed at how he had changed from a tiny caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly.
And so, the little caterpillar’s journey came to an end, but his story lived on.
