[The Emperor steps forward, looking up at the sky.]
Emperor: The gods have decreed that a celestial event will soon occur. It is said that the person who can shoot the nine suns will be granted a wish by the gods.
[The Emperor turns to Hou Yi, the greatest archer in the land.]
Emperor: Hou Yi, I trust you to fulfill this great task. If you succeed, you will bring great fortune to our land.
[Hou Yi steps forward, his bow in hand.]
Hou Yi: I will not fail you, Emperor. I will shoot the nine suns and bring peace to our world.
[The Emperor nods, and Hou Yi takes aim. The scene shifts to the sky, where the nine suns are blazing.]
Narrator: Hou Yi took aim and shot the nine suns, one by one. As the last sun fell, the world was bathed in light. The Emperor was overjoyed and granted Hou Yi a wish.
[The Emperor steps forward, looking at Hou Yi.]
Emperor: Hou Yi, you have brought great fortune to our land. Now, choose your wish.
[Hou Yi looks up at the moon, which is now full and bright.]
Hou Yi: I wish to live on the moon with Chang’e, the goddess of the night sky.
[The Emperor nods, and the scene shifts to the moon.]
Narrator: Hou Yi and Chang’e were transported to the moon, where they lived in harmony. They had a companion, the Moon Rabbit, who kept them company.
