The English version of the “Little Red Riding Hood” story is as follows:
Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She lived with her grandmother in a small village. One day, her mother told her to take some cakes and a bottle of wine to her grandmother, who lived in the forest.
Before Little Red Riding Hood left, her mother gave her strict instructions not to deviate from the path and not to talk to anyone she met on the way. However, Little Red Riding Hood was curious and soon forgot her mother’s words.
As she walked through the forest, she met a wolf. The wolf knew the way to her grandmother’s house and offered to help her. Little Red Riding Hood was grateful and followed the wolf.
The wolf, however, had other plans. He went ahead and met Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother. Pretending to be her, he tricked the grandmother into opening the door. The wolf then devoured the grandmother.
When Little Red Riding Hood arrived at her grandmother’s house, she found the door open and her grandmother lying unconscious on the floor. Thinking she was asleep, she kissed her and covered her with a blanket.
Meanwhile, the wolf came back and saw Little Red Riding Hood. He knew she had no idea what had happened and decided to eat her as well. But Little Red Riding Hood was clever. She recognized the wolf’s voice and realized what had happened.
She quickly untied the wolf’s belt and let him out of the house. The wolf ran away, thinking he had tricked Little Red Riding Hood. But Little Red Riding Hood chased him and caught up with him.
She then tied the wolf’s legs together and asked him to tell her the truth. The wolf confessed to his crimes and Little Red Riding Hood told him to go back to the forest.
The wolf promised to be good and went back to the forest. Little Red Riding Hood returned home, where her mother was worried about her. She told her mother the story of her adventure and her mother praised her for her bravery.
And from that day on, Little Red Riding Hood never forgot her mother’s words and always followed the path to her grandmother’s house.
