Once upon a time, there was a king who was very greedy. He loved to hoard things, especially gold and precious stones. But one day, he heard a tale about a farmer who had a magical crop of rice that grew every day.

The king was so enchanted by the idea of having this magical crop that he decided to visit the farmer. When he arrived at the farmer’s house, he was greeted by the farmer’s wife, who was very kind and hospitable.

“Welcome, Your Majesty,” she said. “Please, come in and have a seat. I will prepare a meal for you.”

The king was delighted and sat down to enjoy the meal. As he ate, he noticed that the rice on his plate was incredibly delicious. He asked the farmer’s wife about it.

“This is the rice from our magical crop,” she replied. “It grows every day, and it’s the best rice in the world.”

The king was amazed and asked if he could have some of this magical rice for himself. The farmer’s wife agreed, but she warned him that he must share it with his people.

The king, eager to show off his new treasure, decided to keep the magical rice to himself. He stored it in a secret room in his palace and never shared it with anyone.

As days turned into weeks, the king noticed that the rice in his secret room was not growing. In fact, it was slowly disappearing. He was confused and worried, so he asked his advisors for advice.

“The rice is not growing because you did not share it with your people,” one of the advisors said. “The magic of the rice is tied to the happiness and prosperity of the kingdom.”

The king realized that he had made a mistake. He decided to follow the advisor’s advice and share the magical rice with his people. As soon as he did, the rice began to grow again, and the kingdom flourished.

The king learned a valuable lesson from this experience: that true happiness comes from sharing and caring for others. From that day on, he was a much happier and better ruler, and the kingdom was filled with joy and prosperity.
