在一个阳光明媚的周末，小明的家举办了一场英语角活动。小明和他的几个好朋友，小红、小华和小李，都兴奋地准备参加。
故事开始的那天，小明早早地起床，穿上整洁的校服，拿起一本英语故事书，开始预习即将要分享的故事。他选择了一个关于友谊和勇气的经典故事——《小红帽》。
活动开始了，小明走上讲台，用流利的英语向大家介绍：“Today, I want to share a classic English story with you all. It’s called ‘Little Red Riding Hood.‘”
小红好奇地问：“What’s the story about, Ming?”
小明微笑着回答：“The story is about a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood who goes to visit her grandmother. But on her way, she meets a wolf who tries to trick her. It’s a story about bravery and friendship.”
小华和小李也听得津津有味，他们聚精会神地听着小明的故事。
小明继续说：“So, let me begin. Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She lived with her mother and grandmother in a small village. One day, her mother told her to take some cakes and wine to her grandmother who lived far away in the forest.”
小李插话道：“What happens next, Ming?”
小明接着说：“As Little Red Riding Hood walked through the forest, she met a wolf. The wolf asked her where she was going. Little Red Riding Hood, not knowing the wolf was up to no good, told him the truth.”
小红紧张地问：“Did she get into trouble?”
小明点点头：“Yes, the wolf tricked Little Red Riding Hood into thinking he was her grandmother. But Little Red Riding Hood was smart and managed to escape. She ran back to her grandmother’s house and warned her about the wolf.”
小华感叹道：“What a brave girl! I like the story.”
小明笑着说：“And that’s the end of the story. It teaches us to be brave and to trust our instincts.”
活动结束后，小明和他的朋友们围坐在一起，讨论着他们刚刚听到的故事。小红说：“I never knew the English version of the story was so interesting.”
小李也表示赞同：“It’s amazing how a simple story can teach us so much.”
小明总结道：“Yes, and it’s also a reminder to always be careful and not to trust strangers easily.”
