Title: The Ugly Duckling

Once upon a time, in a small farmyard, there was a little duckling that was different from all the others. It was born with a patch of white feathers on its back and a long, graceful neck. The other ducklings called it “Ugly Duckling” because it did not look like them.

The Ugly Duckling was often laughed at and teased by the other farmyard animals. The geese would honk at it, the chickens would peck at it, and even the cats would chase it away. It felt lonely and unwanted.

One day, the Ugly Duckling decided to leave the farmyard and find a new home. It wandered through the forest, across the fields, and over the hills. It met many different animals along the way, but none of them seemed to like it.

One day, as the Ugly Duckling was walking through a meadow, it saw a group of swans on a nearby lake. The swans were beautiful and elegant, with their long necks and shimmering feathers. The Ugly Duckling wished it could be like them.

As the Ugly Duckling approached the lake, the swans noticed it and began to laugh. “Look at that ugly creature!” they said. The Ugly Duckling felt even more unwanted and sad.

But as the Ugly Duckling looked at the swans, it noticed something strange. The swans were not laughing at it, but at each other. They were arguing and fighting, and it seemed as though they were just as unhappy as it was.

The Ugly Duckling realized that beauty is not just about appearance. It is about being kind, gentle, and graceful. It decided to stay with the swans and learn to be like them.

As time went on, the Ugly Duckling grew into a beautiful swan. It had long, graceful neck and shimmering feathers that sparkled in the sunlight. The other swans admired it and accepted it as one of their own.

The Ugly Duckling learned that everyone is special in their own way. It no longer felt lonely and unwanted. It had found its true home among the swans, and it was happy.

And so, the Ugly Duckling’s story teaches us that beauty is not just about appearance. It is about being true to ourselves and being kind to others.
