The Three Little Pigs
Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there were three little pigs who lived with their mother. One day, she told them it was time for them to leave home and build their own houses.
The first little pig was very lazy. He decided to build his house out of straw because it was quick and easy. He worked hard for one day and then sat down to rest. While he was resting, a big bad wolf came along and blew the straw house down with a single huff and a puff.
The second little pig was a bit more diligent. He decided to build his house out of sticks. He worked hard for two days and then sat down to rest. When the big bad wolf came along, he blew the stick house down too, with another huff and a puff.
The third little pig was the wisest of the three. He worked hard for three days and built a strong house out of bricks. When the big bad wolf came, he tried to blow the brick house down, but it wouldn’t budge. The wolf got frustrated and went away.
The third little pig lived happily ever after in his brick house, safe from the big bad wolf. The first two little pigs learned a valuable lesson about hard work and not taking shortcuts.
And so, the moral of the story is: “Don’t be lazy and don’t take shortcuts; work hard and you will be safe from your enemies.”
