Once upon a time, there was a beautiful young girl named Cinderella. She lived with her wicked stepmother and her two ugly stepsisters in a small cottage near a grand castle.
Cinderella was kind and hardworking, but she was treated like a servant in her own home. Her stepmother and stepsisters were cruel and mean, always making her do the hardest work and dressing her in rags.
One day, the king announced that he would be hosting a grand ball at the castle, and he would choose a princess to marry from the young women of the kingdom. Cinderella’s stepsisters were excited, but Cinderella was sad because she had no chance to go to the ball.
As the day of the ball approached, Cinderella’s stepsisters tried to help her by making her a beautiful dress. However, they were too lazy to do it themselves, so they asked Cinderella to do it for them. Cinderella agreed, but she was not able to finish the dress in time.
On the night of the ball, Cinderella was sitting by the window, looking out at the stars, when her fairy godmother appeared. She knew about Cinderella’s dream of going to the ball, so she offered to help.
The fairy godmother waved her wand and transformed Cinderella into a beautiful princess. She also gave her a beautiful gown, a pair of glass slippers, and a carriage pulled by horses.
Cinderella left her home and arrived at the ball, where she danced and laughed with the prince. They were enchanted with each other, and the prince asked Cinderella to dance with him again and again.
As the clock struck midnight, Cinderella realized that she had to leave the ball. She ran back to her home, but when she got there, she found that her fairy godmother had already turned her back into a poor girl again.
The next morning, the prince was determined to find Cinderella. He visited every house in the kingdom, but no one looked like her. Finally, he found Cinderella’s glass slipper by the steps of her cottage. He knew that Cinderella must be the girl he danced with at the ball.
The prince went to Cinderella’s home and asked for her hand in marriage. Cinderella was overjoyed and agreed to marry him. The wicked stepmother and stepsisters were forced to leave the kingdom, and Cinderella lived happily ever after with the prince in the castle.
